Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication details through Supabase Auth. We also store information you choose to add, including saved jobs, applications, alert preferences, and uploaded CV content. If you subscribe to product updates, we store your email address and consent preference. We do not sell your personal data.

2. Analytics

We use PostHog for product analytics. Analytics are only initialised after you give cookie consent. You can decline analytics and the core search functionality will still work.

3. Cookies

We use localStorage to remember your analytics consent preference and session bookmarks. Authentication cookies are set by Supabase. PostHog is only initialised after you consent and is configured with memory-only persistence.

4. Third-Party Services

SponsorMap relies on a small set of vetted processors. Each handles a narrow slice of the service and operates under its own published privacy terms.

• Amazon Web Services — hosts the website, APIs, scheduled jobs, and supporting infrastructure in the UK and EU.
• Supabase — account authentication and storage for profiles, jobs, applications, alerts, subscriptions, and CV data.
• PostHog (EU region) — product analytics, only after you accept cookies.
• Upstash Redis — API rate limiting and short-lived operational data.
• Anthropic — powers the AI assistant and CV tools. Relevant prompts and CV content are sent for processing when you use those features.
• Stripe — processes subscriptions and payments. SponsorMap does not store your full card details.
• Resend — stores email subscription preferences and sends transactional, notification, and opted-in product-update emails.
• Google Fonts — typography is loaded from Google’s font CDN.

5. Email Preferences

Product updates are optional and separate from job-alert preferences. You can change your product-update preference or unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email. Operational emails needed to provide your account or a service you requested may still be sent.

6. Your Rights
