How we check sponsorship eligibility

SponsorMap cross-references two official UK sources: the Home Office register of licensed sponsors and the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) codes that govern which occupations are eligible for the Skilled Worker route.

For a given job title we identify its occupation code, then read the published rules for that occupation — whether it is eligible, eligible subject to conditions (such as the going-rate salary), or not currently eligible. A human reviewer verifies each occupation mapping before its guidance is shown publicly.
